According to Deadline, Nat Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars, Semper Fi) has been cast in Josh Boone's adaptation of The Stand as Lloyd Henreid, the petty criminal who becomes loyal to the Dark Man, Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard).
This will be Boone and Wolff's third collaboration together. Wolff starred in Josh Boone's directorial debut, Stuck in Love, and also co-starred with Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in The Fault in Our Stars, also directed by Boone.
Wolff joins Odessa Young, Whoopi Goldberg, James Marsden, Owen Teague, Amber Heard, Brad William Henke, and more in the production, which began filming last month.
This is interesting casting news, and I had a small suspicion Wolff might end up in The Stand, and years ago when the project was gaining traction there were rumors he would have a role. He was one of my original choices for Nick Andros, but I'm excited to see him play a darker character in this adaptation!
